PRESS ... excerpts.
Procession Magazine: Chris Canter expressed, "With all honesty, and with the best compliments I can give, this band and this album sounds quite European, with extremely crisp vocals, big hooks and wonderful melodies."
Post-Punk.com: "From Kether to Malkuth, Darkwave Duo Cyborg Amok’s sound traverses between light and dark, with gothic-tinged synth music that shimmers with the brilliance of 80s art-rock and pop."
Sound & Shadows, Ken Magerman commented, "A heavy hitting dystopian future progressive gothic style. I immediately was put in mind of Palais Ideal by the complexity and science fiction concepts. Greg Bullock has a dream whisper voice and a bardic soul. I feel in love with the purity of a father and son bridging generations to find a place of compromise between their influence."
The Viking In The Wilderness said, "US band Cyborg Amok are out with the album "Cyborg Amok", and this is a production for fans of rock music to take note of".
Kainklangmusik Magazine, Karsten Zakrzewski described song "Burden Away" as, “Beautiful clear drums, guitars and electro sounds, which is classic goth synth rock, the narrative dark voice fits perfectly”.
Elektro Vox, Canis Lewis writes, "Cyborg Amok bring a sense of style and new discovery in contrast to a retro journey of electronics and rock that makes for a pleasant indulgence of musical storytelling."
Aural Aggravation, Christopher Nosnibor says,"The evidence here is that they are doing everything right and need to forge ahead and capitalize on their work so far, because this is a strong dark album."
Right Chord Music, Mark Knight, calls Cyborg Amok, “Gloriously brooding and timeless in its introspection.”
